He was given 4-6 months to live. He has far exceeded that and, with low cost, low dose steroids, has been perfectly normal for months now. Vet says the longer he goes before having a reoccurrence, the better it looks. So far, no dizziness from the swelling or side effects from the steroids... We'd recalculated his dosage a few months ago when he did have side effects from a higher dose of steroids and so far, so good on all fronts.
