Annie has hard, flat fur with little undercoat so of course she is crazy about being combed, brushed, whatever! Its not like she really needs it, so she is the cat who will pester for brushing, arching her back in bliss.

Its taken several years to desenistize Lizzy to brushing. She has enough undercoat for three cats. Belly is off limits, but I have a human, nubbed round brush she likes. I just have to drop it once in a while so she can kill it before continuing. I could knit a litter of kittens out of what the brush pulls out in an average evening!

Stink has really thin, fine hair. She gets all wide eyed about a little brushing, but someone else usually butts in and chases her off if I'm grooming. She sits on the sidelines watching, wondering what it is she is missing.

But when it comes to claw clipping, but BSM and I have to tackle Stink some days to get the job done - what a wild cat!
