Quentin likes to be groomed. He gets excited whenever he sees the grooming brush. Sometimes, though, he gets over stimulated while being groomed and starts hitting me (without claws), or hitting the brush, then I have to discontinue until he settles down.

Star enjoys being groomed, but only for a couple minutes. She gets tired of it after awhile and then wants to be left alone.

Although both cats are short haired, Quentin's fur is thicker so he needs more grooming than Star does. He's also had problems with mats whereas Star has never had them.
