In my bedroom alone, I have 5 well-placed kitty beds. Two are side by side, right by my bed and under the television set. One is under my computer desk, right by my feet. Another is over by the printer stand and is rarely used for some reason. I suspect that it's because it's closed in on three sides by a dresser, wall and then the printer stand. Cats prefer having an escape route in the event that they are challenged by another cat. The last one is clear over on the other side of my room next to my bed and by the closet. That one is rarely used too.

For a week or two, Samantha will sleep in the largest bed, the one right under the TV and next to the middle size bed. Simba then sleeps in the middle size bed which is next to Samantha.

KatyKatt prefers the one under my desk, right by my feet when I'm on the computer.

And Katrina, not wanting to be different or anything, prefers sleeping/resting on my computer's tower or on the satellite dish box right above the resting place of Simba and Samantha. I think that she prefers these places because they are WARM and HIGH! She loves high places.

After a couple of weeks, they'll decide to rotate. Samantha will move down one and occupy the bed that was Simba's. Simba will move to the one under my computer desk and KatyKatt will be found sleeping in the one that was Samantha's. It seems like a mutual musical chairs with no fighting over choice sleeping spots.

When I go to bed at night, I usually always have one or two of them join me in bed. Katrina likes to sleep on me and expects me to pet her head when I'm trying to sleep with a cat on me. KatyKatt curls up under the comforter, right next to my legs and Simba sleeps on the other side of me.

Do your kitties have any special sleeping spots?
