I keep Purina Kitten Chow available for the smaller ones as well as Iams Hairball formula and Friskies dry. Kittens and cats can take their choice. As for canned, they get Friskies 1/3rd a can per cat daily from the day they start eating to the day they pass away. The canned only comes canned for cats and kittens and they all love it and they grow up just fine. Some like some flavors better than others but it all works out in the long run.
