I think it's ok to wait until July if Gabby is acting normally. If you notice increased water comsumption and/or increased urination I would have Gabby tested ASAP, and suggest having a BUN, Creatinine, and urinalysis done. These 3 tests will give a full picture of how the kidneys are functioning.

I forgot about Gabby possibly being exposed to poison. You are right, that may be the cause.
