Since I use it so infrequently (fill the bin and use it for a couple months before turning it on), he isn't used to it. It has probably been three months since I've had it on now... Turned it on last night and he started meowing at it as soon as the water sound kicked on in the back of the fridge and the first load of ice dropped... I turned it off when I went to bed, but he sat up all night meowing on and off at the fridge... Sigh. I didn't get much sleep. Here is an older pic of his staring at the fridge. He sits for as long as he can, then he lays down and stared and meows at it... (He has 4 legs, so the pic is probably about 4 years old). Tomorrow is his 3 year anniversary since his leg was amputated... Still going strong, particularly his lungs (meowing)...
