These are good ideas, however, I think the cat may just be playing. I have a cat that rolls around like something's possessed her whenever we put clean sheets on the bed or have just washed the blanket for the couch. It is almost seizure like, but when I go over to talk to her, she is completely responsive. If you interrupt your cat's rolling behavior, does it work, or does she behave like she can't help but thrash around? If she acts like it's involuntary, I'd say take her to the vet. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it.
