I will (hopefully) be adopting two siamese kittens within the next month or so. I did all that I thought was proper when I adopted a young kitten in July, but despite my precautions he became very ill (most likely due to a congenital problem). I do still, however, wonder if there was anything I could have done. As a result, I am investigating the possibility of home-cooking my cat food. I am not comfortable with Raw ... as processed meat acquires bacteria that cats would not normally encounter in the wild. Can anyone offer me information, suggestions, and most of all, recipes? There is a plethora of information out there but it's all very general and seems to lean toward the raw diet. Thank you so much for your responses.
