Moving to small apartment??

Hello

I have to move soon which was extremely unplanned. I can only afford a bachelor though. Thing is I have 2 cats. I have a cat tree for them and a fish tank to distract them, and I'd put up bird feeders. I'd play with them a lot for more exercise too. It would only be for a year or so. Is this just too cruel or will they be ok? I just can't give them away I love them sooo much
