Not in a while...

By the way, it is good to see you back on here from time to time, lately...

Pookey is almost 18 now (in August). As of this month, it has been five years since his right rear leg was amputated from a Rabies Shot induced Sarcoma (cancerous tumor). He's doing well. He is starting to show signs of early kidney failure as of his last vet visit. He goes back within this next month, so I'll see how it is progressing. Hopefully, slowly and I have another year or two with him. But, I know I am very blessed to still have him at 18 years. His brother/littermate, Stanley, passed away at 16 of kidney failure. It claimed him two years after diagnosis. It is hard to believe it has been almost 2 years since we lost Stanley (in August).
