>>>>>>>>By the way, it is good to see you back on here from time to time, lately...

Pookey is almost 18 now (in August). As of this month, it has been five years since his right rear leg was amputated from a Rabies Shot induced Sarcoma (cancerous tumor). He's doing well. He is starting to show signs of early kidney failure as of his last vet visit. He goes back within this next month, so I'll see how it is progressing. Hopefully, slowly and I have another year or two with him. But, I know I am very blessed to still have him at 18 years. His brother/littermate, Stanley, passed away at 16 of kidney failure. It claimed him two years after diagnosis. It is hard to believe it has been almost 2 years since we lost Stanley (in August).>>>>>>

THANKS! I was in a group on yahoogroups - 4000 members and it was so busy but I THOUGHT they were my friends and then !!!!!

I am thrilled over Pookey! Corkie made it 4 years before she died of ?

My little Missy girl has CRF she was stable for a few years but suddenly her Creatnine has climbed to 4.4 - not terrible but she does not seem to want to do much. I am facing - or tying to - the fact she may not be with me at Christmas and that hurts so much as she loved Christmas.

The group I left has a person on it who thinks I should have put Missy down the minute she stopped eating and says it is cruel to assist feed her. NOW Missy has to have fluids she has repeatedly told me I am being terrible and I should put her down now as she is suffering. She got several other members saying that and it got to be too much - Missy is not suffering - I won't allow that to happen - but I am. I also worry what her "Boys" will do when she goes as they love her so and she takes such good care of them.

So anyway I left that group and am now trying to stop feeling depressed and come back here.
