Hello, all, I just got a new cat and the shelter had him on Feline Pine litter so I decided to stay with it when I brought him home. I AM CLUELESS as to what to do with this stuff. Aside from taking it all out and then sifting it by the shovelful, HOW DO YOU USE IT??



Also, is it possible that I could be allergic to my new cat when I am not allergic to my resident cat Luna? Right now he is holed up in a rather small bathroom with little ventilation until he can roam around in the full house and every time I go in there I get itchy eyes and a slight runny nose. I have asthma nd react to rat dander but never reacted to cat hair. I am hoping it is the cage they gave me for him (because they did not have time to clean it - LONG story) I will be devastated if I am allergic to him because I am sure he is going to be a great cat as soon as he meets Luna and is incorporated into the house! If I am allergic he will have to go back.



OH, I am so unhappy right now! He is a great boy and I am freaking out.
