Hello Heidi,
I am so very sorry about your loss of Missy. The fact that she did well for a long time tells me that she had the best of care.
I know the heartbreak of dealing with CRF, as I have lost several cats to the disease. Unfortunately, the time always comes when there is nothing more we can do. We are able to make that most difficult decision out of our love for our babies. I see euthanasia as kind of a final gift, one that is never easy to give.
There is no doubt in my mind that I will see all of my Angels again some day, and you will see yours as well. We will all have quite a reunion some day with our babies.
