I have recently had my 3 year old cat tested for FelV and he has tested positive on the Elisa test twice. I just had the IFA test done and it came back today as "positive". He is now symptomatic. He was so stressed when I brought him to the Vets he is just not snapping out of it, he is sleeping alot and not getting up much he has been running a fever. Most of the other blood work was fine (it did show that he was anemic) but the results have improved since the first test. I am feeding him raw meats, giving him vitamins, nutrical and antibiotics. I love my cat so much and I am getting very confused on the treatments medically and hollisticly. Everything that I read says something different. He is physically going downhill and I just cannot seem to stop it. If anyone one has any info on treatments that really work I would be so greatful, I just can not lose my baby boy.
