We went to a vet Friday where he was diagnosed with CRF. I made a midnight trip to a vet hospital 2 hrs from home last night to have tests done to see if there was any hope. Today at 2:00 we put him to sleep. I feel our pain and understand the emptiness. I have 4 other cats but somehow tonight my home feels so quiet and lonely. I feel like I am in a vacuum where no good feeling can ever come again. I ache to hug and kiss his soft fur once more. Sending you hugs and hope time has begun to ease the ache.
