Oh dear - these boards are not monitored 24/7 so your friend is probably well under way.

The only thing I can advise is for your friend to watch the cat for signs of urinary discomfort such as licking at the penis/anal area if he hasn't eliminated for a long while. Then she'll need to find an emergency vet ASAP. Not fun for being on the road.

More than likely nature will take her course and things will flow in due time. I do hope so. Let us know how things worked out!
