First off, get the cat spayed ASAP. This will help with the nighttime crying. Second, get some Comfort Zone plug-ins to ease the tensions around the house.

The final thing is to reinforce quiet behavior. This is hard. Figure out what treat the cat really loves. Then when she has been still and quiet for 15 minutes give her a treat and say, "Good, quiet". Gradually increase the time by five minutes. When she cries at night, do not get up and pay attention to her as this reinforces the behavior.

Good luck!

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!
