TRAVELING WITH 2 CATS

I ANTICIPATE A MOVE FROM INDEP, MO TO RENO, NV OVER THE HOLIDAYS. CAN ANYONE PROVIDE DETAILED INFORMATION ON HOW TO TRAVEL WITH THEM. BOTH ARE MALE CATS AGES 6 AND 2. I'M QUITE CONCERNED ON THE PROPER WAY TO TRAVEL WITH THEM. SINCE THIS DRIVE WILL BE OVER 3 DAYS (2 MOTEL STOPS) WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE THIS EXPERIENCE LESS TRAUMATIC FOR THEM.

ANY INFORMATION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
