I Spooked my cat and now she hates me

Hi All,

I really need HELP. Yesterday night I was moving my sofa to find those rabbit fur mice toys that my cat loves to play with. I accidentally knocked over the side table, it flipped and made a loud noise. Amelia, my cat, was so scared that she backed herself into a garbage bin, and peed on the floor near the kitchen area.

Since then, I'm unable to get close to her without her hissing and growling so loudly it seems like she's fighting for her life. My parents are able to get close and touch her if I'm not around.
