This is normal behavior for a kitten - especially one who has lost his playmates and is the only kitty!

First, try some different kinds of toys and see if there is a texture that he prefers to bite and chew on. Be sure to play with him a lot. Sometimes a feathered cat wand will really help tame the aggression.

When he bites, yell "ouch" in as high pitched and loud a voice as possible. This mimics the cry a kitten makes when he's had enough rough play and most kittens will back off.
