Our cat Inky is extremely attached to us (meaning, my boyfriend and I.) When we get home, he greets us at the door, and follows us around til we go to sleep, at which point he'll enstle up in between us. :/
Here's the weird part. Say we are watching TV in the living room, and one of us goes in the ktichen (where Ink's food bowl is.) Inky will GALLOP out into the kitchen, even out of a deep sleep, and quickly begin devouring his food until the kitchen-going person returns to the living room. As you walk back into the L.room, he will turn from the food and race after you.
He also does this at night, if one of us gets up for a drink or to use the bathroom, Inky will wake from a dead sleep and eat his food only during our excursion; then he will follow the person back into the room and lay down to sleep again.
Could this be because we are not home often? I know that while we are away all day, he sleeps; on my days off, that's all I see him doing.
