Posted by: AstiLover at Wed Dec 15 13:10:21 2004 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by AstiLover ] My 7 year old Bengal was not ahppy when I introduced my new 10 week old rescue kitten last February 14, the kitten is now 12 pounds of sweetness. Though they sleep and play together, the Bengal was urinating on my curtains and areas where the kitten like to play and sleep. I had him ckd for UTI twice at the vet, all is OK. I had the sheers replaced and had the curtaisn shortened and cleaned, added another litterbox and have continuously used Feliway plug-in and spray, cat attract in the litter and even had him on a drug similar to Buspar (which I took him off immediately, he foamed at the mouth and got really lethargic). It's now 10 months later, the kitten is grown and still sweet, not aggressive, jsut likes kitten play and I haven't had any accident sfrom teh bengal in 3 months UNTIL this last 2 weeks. He got into the garage and when I went to get him he was spraying on the wall by the garage side door! Maybe some other animal had gotten in there. I did not punish him, have never punished him. BUT now he is peeing on the kittens favorite toys, even toys that were once my Asti's (now deceased) toys that the kitten took a liking to. So it's not that the toys were new, some have been around for 6-7 years! I had to throw even the plastic round toy that holds a ball that the cats can spin. ANY ideas?
