We have two cats a brother and a sister. Both have lived together since they were kittens and have NEVER had a problem with one another. The male's name is Liveze and the female's name is Azshara.

Recently it came time to get Liveze, the male, fixed because of his growing intrest in his sister. The operation went without a hitch and was back home the same day as the surgery. However when we did bring him back home and out of his carrier his sister starting acting like she didnt know him anymore. He tried to say hello just by walking up to her and she went into a growling yowling fit like I have never seen. I called the vet and they said to simply keep them seperated for 24 hours. Well this has been done but our female still refuses to accept her brother.

I have read alot and I would really hate to have to either keep them seperated for months on end, or give up either of them. This is really stressing me out. Is there anything besides seperation that I can do to help them mend things??
