Posted by: SallyAA at Wed Feb 2 16:30:29 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by SallyAA ] I have had my cat Edyn for 4yrs and Chloe for 3yrs. They have always gotten along. One day after playing with one another, the younger cat attacked Edyn. They both were howling, growling, hissing, and "snorting". Edyn also wet herself several times when the attacks began. I took Edyn to the vet thinking that maybe Chloe was attacking her because she was sick. The vet said nothing was wrong and had never heard of this happening before. I put them on an anti-aggression med which didn't really help. After about a week and a half, everything was fine (they had been in separate rooms during that time). Last night, about 6 months after the first attack, Chloe attacked Edyn again. I even got a piece of it!! We're keeping them separated again, but Chloe is stalking outside the door where Edyn is. It's really weird. Is something wrong with one of them? Has anyone heard of this happening? They've both been spayed if that helps. You can also email me at s_appletoft@hotmail.com if you want to. Thanks for any help you can offer. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
