Since you're cats are not kittens, 2 years old if I remember right and they are not usto traveling I too agree they would be less stressed to stay home. Maybe you're sitter can move in for the month that way they have a snuggle buddy.

We travel with ours but we have been doing that since they were kittens. And they are very usto the car & changing surroundings since we started young. Our trips are 9-10 hour drives which I think any longer I would with my cats reconsider traveling with them for comfort reasons for them.
