As you have noted, some cats are more affectionate than others and also the change in environment probably brought out the worst traits in your cat. From your description it sounds like the two cats have more or less adjusted to each other.

Since she is still young, take time to play with her every day using a wand or kitty tease. Interactive play will help her realize that you are not the "bad" guys. Also you should stop approaching her for affection. Instead try this for a few weeks:
Get her in a room by herself - without the other cat. Pretend to read or use the computer or otherwise look busy doing something else and don't make eye contact. Toss a kitty treat in her general direction every five minutes or so. Do not look at her, though. Do this daily for about 15 minutes and see if she warms up to you.
