HI,

Not sure if this is the right section but I will post anyways. My husband got up this morning to find out three year old himilayan (Pheobe) had passed away during the night. What I was wondering is do other cats mourn the loss of on of its house mates and if so, for how long? I have One Kitty Kota who acted like Pheobe was her mother. She has benn crying and going nuts all morning since it happened. Her and my other two cats actually woke us up at 4am, they were crying and going nuts. Thats when we found Pheobe. I am giving a the three cats as much attention as I can to help them calm down. I just want to know how long a cats grieving process is if they have one.

Attached is a Photo of our beloved Pheobe.
