I am so sorry about Pheobe. I know that something sudden like that is especially hard to bear.

The other kitties will vary in the amount of time they need to grieve and work out a new hierarchy, but they will be OK with extra love and attention. If they show serious signs of depression, such as a complete loss of appetite, extreme lethargy or unwillingness to drink then they will need to go to the vet for further evaluation.
