Posted by: janome at Thu Dec 29 20:55:06 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by janome ] have you had her checked for hyperthyroid? i had a 22 year old cat...my beloved mokie passed oct 28...and she would wonder around the house an 'talk' alot too with a toy in her mouth. i asked my vet once and he thinks it was becasue she was getting old, senile and hard of hearing. she did have hyperthyroid too. with the hyperthyroid she was hungry ALL THE TIME and also picky and seemed restless alot. (she was on a med that control the thyroid.) esp in her last days. i think part of that too was she didn't have to many teeth left so hard for her to eat some things.
