My kitty, Princess Spooky, used to meowl like that after I adopted her. It took about a month for her to get used to the house at night and after that, she stopped. I haven't heard her do it since. Your baby just needs some time to settle in and get used to your house at night. It's a lot scarier when it's dark and you're alone, ya know?
