Possibly you could give her some "quiet time" in a place that she cannot ruin anything. GIve ehr toys and thisngs she can destroy. Direct her to this place when she is in a destructive act.

Also, it is possible that your vet can recommend a medication for a short period of time to calm the cat down so that she can learn to feel calmer. My Bengal is very active and can be very destructive and downright mean sometimes. Amitrypteline (not sure how to spell it) has helped him (and me!) during soem rough periods and I do not keep him on it long term. Usually a week does the trick (usually only a couple of days works).

Scat mats can work to keep her off the counters or where you don't want her to be. I use a couple of them around my Christmas tree every year and now I don't even have to plug it in! THey simply learned to avoid it! Type in Scat Mat into your search engine.

Let us know if you've found anything that helps!
