Posted by: astilover at Wed Jun 21 09:50:16 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by astilover ] It seems that whenever my 9 y/o Bengal gets stressed about soemthing he decides to spray, even though he is fixed! I recently introduced a new kitten who I was fostering and decided to adopt(in fact, still am going thru intro phase). I have a Feliway plug-in in the kitten's room and spray Feliway at the doorways to his area. I also use Petastic to clean areas that he has sprayed in previously and then added Feliway at a later date to the area. Any ideas on how to change his behavior sincehe fights me so much on taking amytriptyline. The thing is, he is spraying areas that are not remotely situated enar the kitten or the kitten's area! One area is inside the front door corner and another area on an inside wall croner between the wall and a china cabinet. He has even gotten up on a stool there to spray the wall!!! I've spent close to $500 on Feliway and cleaners over the last 3 years. Just wondering if I have to learn to live with it or if someone has any unique ideas? He seems to taper off for a bit and then I'll find another spot! [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
