Hi There,

This is going to take lots of time and patience. A six week old kitten shouldn't even be away from it's mom yet. Tammy gave some excellent advice that I recommend you take.

A cat isn't "strange" because he or she is afraid and runs and hides. Often these cats have a good reason for this behavior, such as abuse in the past or a feral background. I have a former feral here and she took years to become comfortable.
