My girlfriend and i are getting married in a month. I have a female cat who is 5 years old and my girlfriend has a female cat that is almost 2. She got the cat from someone who found it under their deck when it was just a few weeks old. They nursed it and kept it until it was a few months old and my girlfriend took it (which i pleaded with her not to). My cat is as sweet as can be and wouldnt hurt a fly. We live very close to each other so we bring the cats into contact a lot. My girlfriends cat attacks my cat constantly. Everytime my cat hits the floor, my gilrfriends cat attacks her fiercely. My cat has to sit beside us the whole time they are around each other. She even attacks me quite often and even sometimes my girlfriend. My cat just tries to get away. Ive tried everything from a water sprays (which didint phase her after the first couple of tries) to loud NO's. She is none stop aggressive. The vet said we might have to have her put to sleep, which i would not want to do. We are moving into a house together in a month and we will not be able to leave the cats together by themselves. PLEASE, if anyone has any ideas, i would really like to know. It is so hard to deal with after two years of having to mediate the two.I am stressed to the max. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
