I never thought of it as someing inhumane I thought of it as something like other people do to to dogs like having there ears altered or tails that I think only vets should do not pet owners them self but I did not know that they remove the hole end of there toe to do that and that it could make there feet hurt for the rest of there life eather....I'v seen and been around other declawed cats that seem fine and was just wanting to learn about it thats why I posted asking questions...the most my cat tears up is my toilet paper but he is still just a kid and he paws me alot and I have one side of my body that is a lil more sensitive to touch that is why I was asking about declawing or softpaws..I would use the softpaws but it would be really hard for me to get them on once a month or get someone else to put them on for me
