My cats over the course of the past few weeks have decided that they want to play with the blinds on my living room window. As soon as it starts to get light outside, they get on the cabinet that my TV is on and begin pulling the blinds away from the window, allowing the bottom of the blinds to come off the window sill and extend the rest of the way to the floor. They've also pulled out some of the slats (not sure if that's the right word) at times from where they've been pulling on the blinds. I've been taking my motion alarm from the kitchen and setting it behind my TV and leaving it turned on to the door chime, which spooks them from getting up there and messing with the blinds, but that only works when I'm home since I always have the motion alarm set in the kitchen for security reasons. They're starting to learn not to get up there when the motion alarm is behind the TV. Removing/replacing the blinds isn't an option, and leaving the blinds up isn't an option for security reasons. Anybody have any suggestions?
