Posted by: cwjr at Fri Dec 24 23:20:36 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cwjr ] we have an 18 year old calico and she is in relatively good health. she eats and drinks like normal, very sociable. recently she goes into the bathroom by herself and starts howling like a dog! she is very loud. it sounds like a small dog being tortured. its really embarrasing when we have company and i can only imagine what the neighbors must be thinking about how we treat our animals. there is nobody in the bathroom when she does this. it will go on for about a minute and when she's done she'll come back into my room and meow like normal and she'll act as if nothing happened.
