I was once getting a check up, and when the physician pulled back the gown and saw my skin, she said, "What the hell?" (How's that for a confidence booster?) I panicked thinking I was going to have to explain that I got these scratches from cats being affectionate, not aggressive. But all I had to say was, "I have cats..." The doc interrupted me and showed me a few scars on her arms. She acquired them from one of her kitties who always wanted to be held.
