Bob is extremely vocal for a coonie. He will howl early in the morning, late at night and any time in between. It is usually, though, when he NEEDS to play, NEEDS to get combed (for the 20th time in the day ) or just NEEDS to be paid attention. Of course, there is always something he needs. When I call him or whistle, he will not usually answer but rather come to me.
Daisy, on the other hand, will meow when she wants to climb on the bed with me and sometimes (on good days, since she is pretty quiet) she will actually carry a conversation with me, with soft meows back and forth
