Also, at five months, your new kiddo is still a...well, kiddo Playing is all that is of concern! Don't worry. Kitties usually settle down and become more cuddly as they get past a year or so in age. Of course, as was said before, some kitties just never get cuddly, and others are cuddly from the get go (like my Min).

One good way is to play with your kitty. Tire them OUT! Really work them hard until they just flop in exhaustion.

Then cuddle away! They'll usually be to pooped to protest
