Hi. My cat is 10yrs old and has always been moody. he cuddles w/me every night and i pat him til i fall asleep, although sometimes he will just attack me with a bite and a nasty meow. He will do this at any given time when im patting him at other times too. Its so scary becuz i jump (i have learned when he's going to attack)and he stares at my arm with big eyeballs and is in attack mode til i get him to relax by talking to him, and then he'll walk away. or he'll keep attacking. i have always yelled "NO" and its never helped!
has anyone ever heard of this attack behavior? he has always been an indoor cat too.
