I adopted a 10 mos old male kitten yesterday. He is primarily in the den but is very bold and inquisitive on exploring. I have let him out in the other rooms for short periods. My older cat is aware of his presence and is afraid of him. She will not leave my bedroom and stays in a corner. She is friendly when I approach her. Today I had to carry her into the other room where she eats. After eating she ran back to the bedroom. The new cat is in the den at this time. I need suggestions?
