Hi! My husband and I have two cats, a female of 3 yrs named Grisabella, and a male of 2 yrs named Sebastien. Of course there was some tension when they were introduced 2 years ago, but nothing like what's happening with our new cat, a Siamese of 5 yrs named Sophie.

Sophie has lived with other cats before so we weren't concerned about her "cat" skills. But the other 2 are terrified of her and she will antagonize and chase after them. We've had her a week and keep them separated during the day, with routine "introductions" in the evenings. We'll have 1 or 2 in their carriers with the third walking around. And we switch between Sophie with us in the bedroom one night, then the other two the following night; and back and forth. The other 2 are starting to get better with her, but as soon as we try to put them together for a short period of time, Sophie will attack one of the other cats or, worse, sneak up on them. We've squirted her with water which does diffuse the situation, but doesn't seem to curb her desire to fight. The other two don't really fight back, just hide in a corner and hiss/cry. Any suggestions on how we can work this out?

Thanks in advance and sorry so long!
