You are very kind to take this cat in. He definitely needs to be isolated from the rest of the pack for at least a week or two before you even attempt to introduce them face to face. If you can get all the animals outside at once, you can let him have the run off the house for a while every day so he can make his presence known.

I don't want to discourage you too much, but there is a possibility that the mixture will never quite work out, given the cat's age and the number of animals you already have. If you are still having difficulty in a month, please consider contacting a himmy rescue group for placement in a permanent home where he might be a little less anxious.
