It's because the kitten doesn't smell like her good buddy any more. He smells like a different cat because of the vet's office. This happens all the time with mine. Even when I take them together. You need to wipe them both down with those cat cleaning wipes or something to get the vet smell off the one and make them smell the same. Everything should be back to normal ina couple of days. Good luck.
>>Hi, >> We took in a new kitten in November. Our two year old resident female was not too happy, but with a gradual introduction, they were become quite good friends. However, we had to take the kitten to get neutered and when we brought him home our female was growling and hissing again! We separated them for a while and eventually let them roam freely when we went to sleep. This morning she was growling and hissing again. Do we have to re-introduced them? How long will it take this time??? ----- Jaime owned by Mya the dog and the cats:Crash, Moxie, Gabby and sometimes Tucker
