My chessie and my cats are both 3ish. The chessie we've had since he was a week old and I rescued my cats from Humane Society when they were 9 months old. Because the dog is so...um...full of energy and he spends most of the day outside, we've really not made any attempts to let them get to know each other.

Each is curious about the other and I wanted to know if there was a strategy for letting them check it out. My puppy would never intentionally harm the cats...he just wants to play but I'm worried about his large size (hey, I've read 'Mice and Men' lol). Suggstions?

Two cats named Beatrice and Theta

plus a cornsnake named Nora

equals nirvana without needles for a girl named Rae
