I think your present arrangement of kittens and cat sounds pretty good. Willow will probably need some more time and space, but if she's only a little hissy and hiding this is not a bad sign. If you don't have a Comfort Zone plug-in with Feliway, you might want to get one or two and see if this helps smooth over the introduction.

As far as traveling, the cats should have separate carriers - the kittens might be small enough to travel in a large carrier together. Don't leave the cats alone in the car! Also the heat down in our neck of the woods is terrible and animals will die quickly if they are left in a car - even with the windows cracked open a bit.
