A little background before I get to my question. I have three cats - Bonkers is ten years old and has always been our house cat. He is very adaptable to change - even if he doesn't like it at first. Our 2nd cat was a stray and although she trust me and my husband, she takes a very long time to warm up to anyone else (if she warms up at all). The 3rd is the stray's kitten who is now over a year old. This kitty is happy-go-lucky and loves everyone and everything and although she has aliitle of her mother's scardy streak - her playfulness usually takes over. They all love attention and cuddling. We just moved from NJ to GA one month ago and while day one was hard, they've all settled in and are happy as ever. Enter new pet: My husband and I just fell in love with this little puppy who needs a good home. She's an Italian Greyhound and on the small side. We want this puppy very badly but are worried about how the cats will react. We planned to get a puppy after we moved into a bigger place in January, but this dog will not be available for long. Our place is not too small and we have alot of outdoor space for the dog. Does anyone have any experience with introducing a puppy to your cats? Is this just a bad idea all around? We're trying to think with our heads but our hearts already love this puppy.
