I posted in Dec. about introducing a young tortie to my two adult females, ages 6 and 11. She went to a good home, but I have since adopted a 7-month old male kitten. Although he's from a litter of feral kittens and seemed very timid in his foster home, he's quickly making himself at home and is a very sweet little guy. So far, I've been allowing supervised contact with the adult cats and keeping him in my spare bedroom at night and when I'm not home.
The older cat growls when he come near, but hasn't shown any other agression. The younger one hisses, but also seems very curious and will follow him around from a distance. They've touched noses and he has tried playing with her.

Is there anything else I an be doing to facilitate the introductions? I don't want to rush things too much. Would it be a good idea to sleep in the same room as the kitten on alternate nights? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
